A Christian Memoir Series - 4 Books- "No Worse for the Wear- Sparrow" All proceeds will go into building the Non Profit: The Refuge of Peace Justice & Advocacy Center and in publishing the Memoirs.
This is a story of spaces we build to survive, and the grace that meets us there. As a child I found refuge beneath an old Elm tree and along the New England shore, long before I understood what I was surviving.
In those places I learned that imagination could be a lifeline and solitude a Holy companion. The four book memoir series is not to expose, but to understand. To honor the child who found sanctuary in the natural world, when the real one felt too sharp.
As I share these reflections, I am also sharing my journey from "No Worse for the Wear."
It's a story of God who encountered me in the winter woods as a child, near a small pond, meeting me in the quiet places, and how He turned my lived experiences into a calling and a Refuge for others. - RIVER
