What's Going on Inside Your Tent? Exodus 33:7-11

There is a sacred space — a tent outside the camp — where God meets with those who will step away from the crowd. Moses pitched his tent far from the noise, far from the opinions, far from the ordinary rhythm of the people. And there, the pillar of cloud descended.
Every heart has a tent.
Every soul has a door cracked open to the Presence.
The question is: what’s going on inside yours?
Inside the tent, there is no performance — only presence.
It’s the place where the light of God floods the darkness, like the soft golden glow through a cracked door. It doesn’t rush in; it invites. It asks for stillness, honesty, and surrender.
Outside, the people watched. They stood at their own tent doors, observing the glory from a distance. But Moses went in. He didn’t just see the cloud — he entered it. He spoke with God face to face, as one speaks with a friend.
Inside your tent, God is waiting to speak.
He’s not looking for perfection; He’s looking for proximity.
He’s not asking for eloquence; He’s asking for openness.
The light that spills through the cracks of your heart is enough for Him to enter.
The same Presence that met Moses in the wilderness wants to meet you in your solitude.
So today, step away from the camp.
Let the door of your tent open just enough for the light to flood in.
And when it does, don’t just stand at the threshold — go in.
Because inside your tent, the glory still descends.
